About Us

A San Antonio Animal Hospital That Is Filling The Gap Between General Practitioners And Specialty Centers

A large brown dog with a dark snout stands indoors near an open door, looking forward with its tongue out. A person beside the dog holds a leash and dog waste bag.
A black and white dog looks up with gentle eyes while a person pets its head, creating a calm and affectionate moment.
A person in a white dress sits on a wooden chair, gently cradling a sleeping orange cat in their arms on a bright, peaceful porch.

What Makes Our Veterinary Procedure Center Different

A veterinarian in a white coat holds a tablet and talks to a man in a plaid shirt who is holding a relaxed cat in his arms.

Built To Support Your Veterinarian

We partner with your veterinarian to expand what’s possible for your pet – without replacing the relationship you already trust.

A tan, medium-sized dog on a leash walks beside a person wearing beige pants and black shoes indoors, near a pink wall. The dog looks happy with its mouth open and tongue out.

Focused, Procedure-Driven Care

Our center is designed specifically for surgery and dentistry. That focus allows for efficient scheduling, experienced anesthesia support, and a streamlined experience from intake to discharge.

A golden Labrador dog lies on the floor next to a seated woman and a person in green scrubs, likely in a veterinary clinic waiting area. White chairs and office furniture are visible in the background.

Clear Communication, Every Step Of The Way

We believe good medicine includes clear expectations, honest recommendations, and consistent communication at every stage.

FAQs

Do I need a referral to schedule?

No. While we work closely with primary care veterinarians to coordinate patient care, a referral is not required to schedule a surgery or consult. We will only share your pet’s information with your written permission.

Will my regular veterinarian stay involved in my pet’s care?

Absolutely. We believe in a collaborative approach and work alongside your primary veterinarian to ensure continuity of care before, during, and after your pet’s procedure.

Will I receive an estimate before the procedure?

Yes. We provide clear, detailed estimates prior to treatment so you understand the recommended plan and associated costs before moving forward. General pricing information can be found here.

What should I expect on the day of my pet’s procedure?

Patient check-in begins between 7:30 and 8:00am, and discharge occurs the same afternoon between 3:00 and 5:00pm. Our team will walk you through the process, provide updates, and review discharge instructions to ensure a smooth recovery at home.

Do you offer emergency / overnight services?

We are not a 24-hour facility. We do not keep patients overnight, nor do we provide after-hours emergency services. If your pet requires overnight monitoring, we will help coordinate continued care at one of our surrounding 24-hour facilities. If your pet is facing an after-hours emergency, please proceed directly to one of these emergency facilities.
